This tour was created to get better knowldege of the wide area of Maya influence in México. The marvelous and    important State of Tabasco will be explored, from its    swamps and rivers that have more than the 30% of all the    water reserves of México to its archaeological sites,    westernmost border of the Maya influence. We'll also cross    Chiapas from north to center through the "Selva Negra",    with beautiful landscapes very away from the beaten path    of massive tourism.

Many of the different ethnical Maya groups will be seen: Choles, Tzotziles, Tzeltales, Lacandones and Yucatec Maya among others. This tour is special for those willing to have    a complete knowledge of the Maya in this region: All the    different landscapes in which they used to live, from the    highlands to the swamps, from evergreen rainforests to the    cloud forests and savannas; many archaeological sites,    excellent examples of the pre classic, classic and post    classic periods of the pre Columbian Maya culture; many    colonial cities and rural communities in which the Maya of    today live and finally the marvelous Caribbean Sea.
