Cuernavaca and Taxco tour.

Early in the morning departure for Cuernavaca, “the city of eternal springtime”, so called on account of its warm climate practically the whole year round. There we shall see one of oldest Cathedrals on the American Continent, The Palace of Cortes, etc; from there we shall carry on to the beautiful city of Taxco, considered to be the “World Silver Capital”, where we shall see the famous parish church of Santa Prisca with its impressive churrigueresque art style.; we shall walk through Taxco´s lovely cobbled streets, where we shall be able to admire the silver - work made by our craftsmen.

Cholula and Puebla

Departure to Cholula, “the city of churches.” According to legend, when the conquistadores arrived they thought they saw a great number of towers and domes and exclaimed to have seen “as many as the days in a year.” Hence the myth that Cholula had 365 churches, when in reality it possesses only 39. We’ll visit the CONVENTO DE SAN GABRIEL, the most impressive, and the CAPILLA REAL, which was inspired by the great mosque of Cordoba in Spain. We’ll also visit the GRAN PIRAMIDE, the largest pyramid ever built in Mesoamerica. This afternoon we arrive in Puebla, declared a World Heritage Site in 1987. Puebla has managed to preserve part of its old character and possesses some of the most important colonial works of art in Mexico. Your city tour includes the majestic CATHEDRAL, the second-largest in the country and regarded by some as the finest in Mexico.

National Folkloric Ballet.
The National Folkloric Ballet of Mexico, founded in May 1960 is one of the best shows in the city and can be seen in The Palace of Fine Arts, with its impressive crystal curtain; it shows the different regions of this country, the richness of Mexican culture, its myths and traditions through the artistry of the dances; it’s a unique and colorful Mexican fiesta.
